Tanzania - Round House

Day 1
Arrive to Kilimanjaro International Airport. From here you will be welcomed from a representative from TAPAC Safaris. Transfer to Arusha town and a designated hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel you will be picked up by your guide where you will have a short pre safari brief. Your guide will then go through your itinerary, what you can expect or hope to see as well as some rules and regulations in accordance to Tanzanian laws. After this meeting you will transfer to Tarangire National Park for a half day game drive, with lunch at a picnic spot within the park. In the late afternoon drive to your campsite/tented camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
After breakfast, optional walking safari (if available at the tented camp/lodge) for the duration of 2-3 hours. If this is of no interest, transfer to Mto Wa Mbu for a short village tour, before having lunch at a picnic spot at Mto Wa Mbu. After lunch transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive before driving to your campsite/tented camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
After breakfast at the campsite/tented camp/lodge, you will transfer to Serengeti National Park, via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Optional stop at Olduvai Gorge (important archeological site) or at a
Masaai village, if interested. Lunch will be at a picnic spot on route to Serengeti.
Afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park before driving to the campsite/tented camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Early morning game drive in Serengeti (around 0600). Return to your camp for a late breakfast before continuing your day with game drive. Lunch can either be back at the camp or as a picnic lunch. In the afternoon transfer to your campsite/tented camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6
After breakfast at the camp, go for a short game drive as you slowly make your way towards Ngorongoro Conservation area. Lunch will be at a picnic spot on route. In the afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation area and your campsite/tented camp/lodge for dinner and overnight. Optional afternoon walking safari on the rim of the crater with Masaai guide (if time allows).

Day 7
Early morning descent into the World Famous Ngorongoro Crater for a half day game drive. Ngorongoro crater is the home to the densest population of big predators (lion & Hyenas) as well as the highly endangered Black Rhino. Lunch will be at a picnic spot on the crater floor.  Afternoon transfer to Arusha town for overnight at designated hotel.

Day 8
Pickup at your hotel around 1000 – 1030. From here you will transfer to Shanga and Riverside Restaurant for a good bye lunch with your guide. After lunch transfer to Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport for flight to Zanzibar.

As you arrive at Zanzibar you will be met with transport from you designated lodge/resort, holding a sign with your name on it.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hostel/lodge/resort/hotel.

Day 9
Full day on Zanzibar. Relax around the pool or on the crystal white beaches, or do one of the many activities available on Zanzibar. Overnight at designated hostel/lodge/resort/hotel.

Day 10
Full day on Zanzibar. Relax around the pool or on the crystal white beaches, or do one of the many activities available on Zanzibar. Overnight at designated hostel/lodge/resort/hotel.

Day 11
Transfer to airport for flight to Arusha around 1100 - 1200. As you arrive at the airport in Arusha you will be met with a representative from TAPAC. Transfer to Arusha for a short city tour, or if time allows you can visit one of the local coffee plantations for a coffee tour. In the afternoon transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for flight back home.
