A late dinner will be waiting for you on arrival, before overnight here.

Day 2 – Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After a good nights sleep and breakfast at the lodge, a representative from Blue Lizard Adventures will pick you up and from here, you will transfer to the workshop in Arusha town. Here you will receive your safety equipment (helmet, gloves and knee guards) and your bike. Your head guide will have a pre-safari brief with you, covering road safety, vegetation of the area you will be driving in, and the culture of the area you will be driving in, and what wildlife you might get lucky enough to see while driving.

After this, you will have the opportunity to get accustomed to your bike, before heading out of town and to an area called Monduli. You will drive about 30-45 minutes on the tar road before reaching the rough road heading to Monduli.

Today is a relatively short day, and an introduction day for you and your bike, so after reaching camp at Monduli you will drive around and play a bit in the nearby area, before relaxing with a delicious hot lunch at the campsite.

In the afternoon you will visit a local Masai boma (village), where you will get to experience the traditional way Masai people live.

The Masai people have traditionally been nomadic people, moving to areas that could supply their livestock with enough food and water.

Here you will get to experience and see just how different their lives are, and you will to experience a traditional Masai dance at the boma.

Later in the afternoon, you will return to your camp for a brief for the following day, before you spend the rest of the day relaxing at the camp, before dinner and overnight here.

On the way, we might be lucky enough to see animals such as giraffes, zebras, different antelopes and baboons.

We will stop for lunch on route to Natron, this will be a simple packed lunch that we carry in our daypacks.

Once we reach Natron and our campsite, we will relax and enjoy the evening with good food and drinks.
